OK, we know this season is far from over but the Texas Rangers already know who they will face on Opening Day of the 2012 season.
The Rangers will open the regular season against the Chicago White Soxs on Friday, April 6.
In fact, if you are the planning type, you can already check out the entire schedule which was announced by Major League Baseball Tuesday morning.
This is the fifth time in the last seven years the Rangers have opened the year at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and is the first of a seven-game homestand at the ballpark.
Interleague play will include games against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies and the Houston Astros.
