With the Texas Rangers' 2013 season long-gone in the rear-view, let's take a look at some of the season's defining moments, both good and bad, in a season that ultimately fell short of the Rangers' expectations.
Moment: The Rangers stumbled into the All-Star break, and things didn't get any better coming out of the break.
When/Where: July 19-21, Arlington
What: July was a fairly disastrous month for the Rangers, and the brunt of their funk was sandwiched around the All-Star break. Coming out of the gates looking for a fresh start, the Rangers were swept at home by the Baltimore Orioles — all games that were within reach of the Rangers and got away late. The one bright spot for the Rangers? They did hold former-bust-turned-Triple-Crown-contender Chris Davis to basically nothing.
