Rangers Hope to Continue Felix Ownership

Felix Hernandez is one of the best pitchers in baseball, and has been for nearly a decade.

And the Texas Rangers have had some pretty stout lineups throughout Hernandez's stint with the Seattle Mariners, but they've also had some average to bad ones. Yet, the Rangers have consistently owned Hernandez throughout his career, and they'll get another chance to do that this weekend in Seattle.

Over the course of his career, Hernandez has thrown the second-most innings against the Rangers than any other team except the Angels (269 innings) and he's not had much success against Texas. In fact, in his 42 starts against the Rangers, he's 12-21 with a 4.01 career ERA.

The Rangers, led by Hernandez's good friend and constant source of his playful trash-talk Adrian Beltre, will try to add to his bad luck against the Rangers this weekend in the Pacific Northwest.
