Rangers Get More Bad Injury News

Yu Darvish is out for the season, and now Derek Holland is out for at least two months, and that's a best-case scenario.

But the Texas Rangers' injury news doesn't end there. Good thing is, Shin-Soo Choo missed just a day before being back in the lineup after he left Friday's home opener early with back spasms, but the good injury news ended there.

Ryan Rua left that same game early with what was thought to be a sprained ankle, but it turns out that injury was in fact a heel fracture, meaning Rua will be in a walking boot for three weeks and will now miss at least a month.

It doesn't end there.

Starter/reliever swing man Lisalverto Bonilla, who was starting the season in the minors but figured to definitely be part of the Rangers' picture at some point this season, is now out for the season with Tommy John surgery.

Remember how bad last year was in terms of injury? Well, so far this year the Rangers have made more roster moves than they had made at this point last season. God help us.
