Rangers Fantasy Outlook: Third Base

With the 2015 season on the horizon, it's time to start talking fantasy baseball drafts and where, if at all, you should target Rangers.

Third base: Adrian Beltre

2014 stats: .324 batting average, .388 on-base percentage, .879 OPS, 33 doubles, 19 home runs, 77 RBIs, 74 strikeouts, 57 walks, 148 games

Beltre is just the best, isn't he? There is talk that the Rangers could look to move Beltre if they have an awful start to the season, and that would be a sad day. He had the second-highest batting average of his career in 2014, despite seeing his power numbers hit a near all-time low. Still, he finished second in the AL batting title race and proved despite his rising age he can still be a very productive player in what way or another.

Beltre is probably the most appealing fantasy option on the Rangers roster now that Yu Darvish is out for the season, and at a scarce position, he should be drafted in the first few rounds of your draft.
