Rangers Announce Spring Training Slate

The Texas Rangers won't waste any time getting down to business in spring training when they open their spring schedule on March 4 against their Surprise, Ariz., bunkmates, the American League champion Kansas City Royals.

The Rangers will play four games in Texas before the regular season begins in Oakland — two against the New York Mets at Globe Life Park after spring training breaks, and two against the Los Angeles Dodgers in San Antonio's Alamodome.

Tickets for spring training games can be purchased beginning on Dec. 15, as the Rangers will play games against all of their division foes, the NL West as well as the Reds, Brewers, Indians, Cubs and White Sox. Tickets for the games range from $8 to $28 and parking is free at Surprise Stadium.
