Rick Carlisle has finally gotten a chance to watch in detail the Dallas Mavericks' NBA championship-clinching victory over the Miami Heat.

The Mavericks coach, who threw a ceremonial first pitch before the Texas Rangers game on Tuesday night, says he finished watching Game 6 earlier in the day -- more than 10 weeks after Dallas won its first NBA championship.

Carlisle admittedly watched from more of a coaching perspective, but says there was a lot he didn't remember from that game in mid-June, some of the special plays made by both teams. He says the championship series was an "unforgettable 14 days."

Wearing a No. 34 Rangers jersey, Carlisle threw a strike that was caught by Texas manager Ron Washington.
