Harrison, Perez Schedules Set

It's unfortunate to say, but betting money would say Texas Rangers starting pitcher Matt Harrison will likely never pitch in the big leagues again. Since 2013, Harrison has made six starts with bad results and had spinal fusion surgery in June, putting his career in jeopardy.

Martin Perez looked like a future all-star through his first handful of starts of 2014 before a few bad ones followed by Tommy John surgery, meaning he'll hopefully be back to full strength for the start of the 2016 season after coming back to the mound in the middle of the 2015 season at some point.

Now, both are trying to work their way back to the mound and are set to start preliminary rehab programs.

Perez is scheduled to start throwing again in November after his surgery in May, and Harrison is set to start throwing in January with his future in limbo.
