Globe Life Upgrades Coming This Year

If you have a season ticket in right field at Globe Life Park, or really anywhere on the first-base side of the park, you're going to be happy to hear about the latest addition to the home of the Texas Rangers.

The Rangers announced on Thursday that they will be installing a new videoboard on top of the offices in left-center field, so now those who sit in right field won't miss out on all the fun from Chuck Morgan, and those are on the first-base side won't have a crick in their necks by the time the game ends.

The new board will be over 30 feet wide and nearly 20 feet tall and have a brighter color contrast to off-set the setting sun.

The Rangers also announced they will replace the foul poles, which were moved to their current home from old Arlington Stadium when the club moved into their current digs prior to the 1994 season.
