Harrison gives up six hits in six innings

Matt Cain scattered three hits over seven innings and the San Francisco Giants rallied to beat the Texas Rangers 6-2 on Thursday night.

Cain allowed back-to-back home runs to Mike Napoli and Mitch Moreland to start the second inning before retiring 17 of the final 19 hitters he faced.

Cain has allowed four earned runs in 20 2/3 innings for a 1.74 ERA.

The Giants scored three runs in the seventh against Yoshinori Tateyama, the first when Brandon Belt doubled into the right-field corner and Emmanuel Burriss followed with a line single to right.

Rangers starter Matt Harrison allowed six hits and a run in six innings, walking one and striking out seven.
