Frisco Is The Place to be Tonight

If you are looking for some good, reasonbly priced fun for the entire family on Thursday night, head out to Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco to catch the Double-A RoughRiders as they host Midland in what will be a showcase for a couple of Rangers superstars and a rehabbing pitcher.

Josh Hamilton made his rehab assignment debut on Wednesday night, hitting a two-run homer in Frisco as the starting DH and Nelson Cruz started in the outfield.

In tonight's game, not only will Hamilton and Cruz be in the lineup again, likely batting No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, but on the mound will be Scott Feldman, who just two years ago was the apple of the eye of the Rangers' starting staff but has since fallen off dramatically while battling numerous injuries.

He seems to be on well on his way back and is nearing a return to Arlington where he'll be put in the bullpen.

Aside from those three, of course, you can catch an early glimpse of who might be the Rangers' center fielder of the future in Cuban defector Leonys Martin, who's set Frisco on fire in his short time there since being signed a couple of weeks ago to a $15 million deal.
