Fans Rush for Rangers' Gear

Rangers' fans in North Texas are rushing to stores to get their hands on the championship gear.

Thousands of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats have sold out at many stores in the area.

The Academy store in Arlington, set up a backroom devoted just to Rangers memorabilia.

Fans started showing up soon after the big win over the Detroit Tigers on Saturday night.

It's expected there will be a steady stream of fans leading up to the World Series.

Jessica Woods and her 6-year-old daughter showed up Sunday afternoon, after looking for shirts at other stores which had sold out. She's looking for gear for her boyfriend and expects she'll be back looking for World Series shirts.

An Academy manager said the World Series gear featuring the logos of the Texas Rangers wo teams would arrive at stores Tuesday.
