Despite Losses, Toronto Series Has Been Great Baseball

This is what makes baseball so great.

Intense, heated rivalry; better-than-average starting pitching; runs being hard to come by; huge defensive plays. You name it, the Rangers-Blue Jays series has had it, and there's still one more game to play on Thursday night.

To put it simply, this week has been awesome in terms of really good baseball between two good teams who seem themselves as World Series contenders.

The Rangers have led all three of these games in the late innings, but only have one win to show for it. But aside from that, we've seen possibly the three best games of the year for the Rangers in terms of exciting, high leverage baseball.

Derek Holland takes the hill on Thursday with a bullpen that should be rested now, and that's going to make for a great finale in Toronto with the Rangers looking to secure a series split. So enjoy it, folks. And remember, the Blue Jays come to town next weekend, so we don't have to wait long for more.
