Over the weekend, the two best power-hitting prospects in baseball were in the same stadium in Arizona, but they aren't just any two prospects.

Chicago Cubs prospect Kris Bryant and Texas prospect Joey Gallo were childhood friends growing up in Las Vegas, where their dads teamed up to run a baseball hitting facility for kids.

Fast-forward a few years, and last summer they were hitting No. 3 and No. 4 for Team USA in the MLB All-Star Futures Game, in which Gallo homered at Minneapolis' Target Field.

Bryant, the Cubs' No. 1 prospect, told the Chicago Sun-Times that he has no match for Gallo, the Rangers' No. 1 prospect, when it comes to pure power.

"I can't hang with him," Bryant said of Gallo. "He's a freak of nature."
