Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre's left hamstring is getting better, but don't expect to see the 37-year old in the lineup Monday night against the last place Oakland Athletics.

Rangers Manager Jeff Banister will continue to give Beltre time to heal and is targeting Thursday as a possible day to return to the lineup.

Beltre suffered the Grade 1 strain in his left hamstring in the 3-1 loss to the Houston Astros last Wednesday while rounding the bases.
