Andrus Serving Turkey For Charity

Texas Rangers short stop Elvis Andrus.

As the ever-growing face of the Texas Rangers franchise, Elvis Andrus will be participating in a charitable event on Monday for the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas, as he'll be hosting families impacted by Down syndrome and serving turkeys and handing out Thanksgiving baskets at the Hilton Dallas Park Cities Hotel.

Rangers broadcaster Eric Nadel will also take part in the event, which will host 13 families who participated in the guild's calendar.

Andrus will also make a monetary donation to the charity at the event, which will run from 4:30-6 p.m. on Monday in Beverly Ballroom A and B.
