Weekend Watch List: The Book Of Tony!

Welcome to Watch List, where we identify five things on TV to watch while you stay at home and hire LeBron James a sports psychologist. LET’S GO!

65TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS – 8:00PM Sunday (CBS) Neil Patrick Harris returns to host the annual tribute to all things Broadway. It’s like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, only indoors. Expect “The Book of Mormon” to clean up (it’s the only musical I’ve ever actually wanted to go see), plus watch live performances from Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and the “How To Succeed In Business” crew, “Sister Act,” “War Horse,” and more. Your 97-year-old aunt will have the time of her life watching it. ANTICIPATION: JAZZ HANDS!

THE GLEE PROJECT – 9:00PM Sunday (Oxygen) But the musical attractions don’t stop there! Set your DVR during the Tonys and save the premiere of this brand new reality show featuring a dozen contestants all vying for a seven-episode stint on “Glee.” Show creator Ryan Murphy will be on hand to judge the wannabes personally, which means plenty of tears, and that Kings of Leon won’t be welcome. But no Sue Sylvester on the panel, which is what I was direly hoping for. ANTICIPATION: EXTRA GLEE!

2011 GUYS CHOICE AWARDS – 9:00PM Tonight (SpikeTV) Spike, also known as the Ed Hardy channel, hosts an award show for guys who like their beer cold and their women HAWT. Jennifer Aniston is on hand to receive a “Decade of Hotness” award. But will it ever make up for her lack of a husband? ANTICIPATION: BURRRRNNNN!

FIELD OF VISION – 8:00PM Saturday (NBC) Faith Ford stars in this movie about a kid who finds an old video camera with top secret footage on it. Like “Super 8,” only you didn’t spend ten bucks to experience crushing disappointment. ANTICIPATION: KNOCKOFFERIFFIC!

MCENROE/BORG: FIRE & ICE – 10:00PM Saturday (HBO) Explore one of the great tennis rivalries of all time. I wonder if McEnroe agreed to be interviewed for this. He seems so camera-shy. ANTICIPATION: VICIOUS BACKHANDS!
