Welcome to Watch List, where we identify five things on TV to watch while you bring in Whitey Bulger for questioning. LET’S GO!

WILFRED – 10:00PM (FX) FX’s latest comedy stars Elijah Wood as a suicidal fella who finds salvation in the form of a dog, a dog that appears only to him as a full grown drunken man in a dog suit. This “Wilfred” was adapted from the Australian show of the same name, and costars the same guy who played the dog in the original series, Jason Gann. If it sounds like a bit of an odd concept (or a gimmick that really belongs in a thirty-second advertisement), you should take heart. The original series was extremely funny thanks mainly to Gann, and FX deserves the benefit of the doubt these days because of “Archer,” “Louie,” and “Sunny.” In fact, FX is probably now the most reliable source for half-hour comedy on television. So give Frodo and his doggie a chance. ANTICIPATION: TEMPERED!

LOUIE – 10:30PM (FX) Back for its second season tonight. One of the absolute best shows on TV, and if you think otherwise, YOU ARE WRONG. Louis CK promises an expanded cast of characters this season, but the show’s unique short-film + standup format will almost certainly stay. It’s probably the most original and honest show on TV right now, so dig in. ANTICIPATION: WAY HIGH!

2011 NBA DRAFT – 7:00PM (ESPN) Watch some of basketball’s brightest young stars (or, in the case of this year’s draft, brightest young future sixth men) get welcomed into the NBA, only to be immediately locked out by owners in a couple weeks. It’s a night of fun European names and horrible suits. ANTICIPATION: DRAFTY!

SUITS – 10:00PM (USA) USA’s latest quirky character procedural is about two lawyers, who of whom is secretly hiding the fact that he has no actual law degree. Many awkward shenanigans ensue. ANTICIPATION: FRANKLIN & BASH 2!

EXPEDITION IMPOSSIBLE – 9:00PM (ABC) “Survivor” producer Mark Burnett unleashes this new show in which teams of three people race around Morocco doing all kinds of crazy crap in hopes of winning money. And sure, it’s basically a complete ripoff of “The Amazing Race,” but beggars can’t be choosers now, can they? This is Hollywood, people. You can’t go expecting them to come up with new ideas all the time. ANTICIPATION: TIRING!
