New on Home Video: “Scott Pilgrim” vs. the “Antichrist” and “Grown Ups”

This week's best, biggest and most notable home video releases include a movie you totally ignored despite our assurances of its entertainment value, a blockbuster comedy that we in turn ignored, the most controversial film of last year, a true Hollywood classic and a boxed-set retrospective of a two-time Oscar-winning director.

"Antichrist"
Provocateur Lars Von Trier strikes again, with this graphic and violent film about a couple, played by Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe, grieving the death of their son. The film angered a lot of folks and won Gainsbourg Best Actress at Cannes in 2009. Now available on DVD and Blu-ray, watch the trailer

"Charlie St. Cloud"
Zac Efron stars as a young man who plays catch with his dead younger brother every day until he meets a beautiful girl and must choose between them. Now available on DVD and Blu-ray, watch the trailer

"The Dry Land"
Ryan O'Nan stars a soldier back from a tour in Iraq who's struggling to get back to his life in small-town Texas. Co-stars America Ferrara, Melissa Leo, Jason Ritter and Wilmer Valderama. Now available on DVD and Blu-ray, watch the trailer

"Grown Ups"
School chums Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade and Rob Schneider reunite for one crazy weekend in the country. The best thing to come out of this film may have been Salma Hayek's encounter with a snake while doing an interview to promote it. Now available on DVD and Blu-ray, watch the trailer

"Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child"
Based on footage director Tamra Davis shot when she first met the famed Downtown art icon, the film includes interviews with several of Basquiat's contemporaries, fans and friends, including Julina Schnabel, Fab Five Freddy and Michael Holman. Now available on DVD, watch the trailer

"Love Ranch"

Director Edgar Wright brings all of his love for comic books, video games, rock n roll and geek culture to bear on "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World," an effort that ultimately pays huge dividends on the silver screen in this film starring Michael Cera and Elizabeth Winstead. "Arsenic and Old Lace"

"The Elia Kazan Collection"
