I had a very successful shopping trip at Tom Thumb this weekend! And the best part is - I'm stocked on meat for the next 2 months!

Here's what I got:

5 - 3lb Chuck Pot Roasts (Original Price: $4.99/lb - Sale Price: $1.96/lb)

5 lbs of boneless/skinless chicken breasts (Sale Price: $1.77/lb)

2 - 6oz packages of Beggin' Strips doggie treats (Sale Price: $3/ea)

1 - 2 liter Pepsi (99¢)

1 Fosted Mini Wheats ($3.29)

1 - 1lb Lucerne Butter ($2.49)

1 Texas Garlic Toast (2.50)

1 Loaf of Bread ($1.19) **This is not a great price, but I always need a loaf of bread for my hubby!

Total Before Coupons/Reward Card = $122.47

Coupons I used:

Tom Thumb $10 off a $50 purchase (in ad)

Tom Thumb 99¢ Frosted Mini Wheats (in ad)

Tom Thumb 99¢ Lucerne butter (in ad)

Tom Thumb FREE 2-liter (in ad)

Tom Thumb $2 off a purchase of $20 or more Rancher's Reserve (TT coupon online)

2 - $3 off Purina dog treats (IP)

70¢ Kellogs coupon (2/22 RP)

50¢ Texas Toast (doubled)

Grand Total (OOP) = $32.05

Total Saved = $90.42 (74%)

As you now know, my weekly budget is $40! I have to confess - I went WAY over this week. I think I spent close to $100 (I'm scared to add it all up) BUT I know I got the absolute best price available on my goods. I'm going to have to make up for the excess though! Next week's challenge = $20 weekly budget!! AUGH!!
