Target has a new coupon for $1/1 Kraft Mayo product which, combined with the $1/1 coupon from the 4/26 SS insert (or the IP located here), makes it completely FREE. I did notice that the expiration dates on these are less than 6 months away, so be sure to check when you make your purchase!
I've heard of using mayonnaise as a hair conditioner, but that's about it! Do you have any creative uses or recipes for mayo? Sounds like we're going to need some! Have you tried the mayo with olive oil? I'm a Miracle Whip girl, so I haven't ventured into the unknown just yet. My husband is a "Real" mayo man...maybe I'll sneak some in when he's not looking.
Because I feel like going on a tangent & no one can stop me...have you checked out Southern Plate? It's a terrific site with some equally terrific recipes. The author (and chef) is a Southern girl who is not only hilarious, but such a great cook. She posts all of her recipes along with a tutorial - complete with pictures of every step. Who knew cooking new dishes could be so easy? I've tried her Coke Cake and Pineapple Upside Down Cake and they were both excellent. I'm dying to try her biscuits which look wonderful as well...every recipe I have ever tried ended up resembling hockey pucks...no where near edible. Anyways, check out her site & sign up for her email list. She's a great teacher and I guarantee you will find something worth experimenting with this week. Enjoy!
