The elements have been known to expire artists and designers, but architectural designer Elena Colombo takes it to a whole new level with her creative "fire features," that spin the traditional idea of a fireplace (not to mention, the art of sculpture) on its head.
We recently received a letter from the Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company in New Jersey. These firemen risk their lives to rescue people everyday, yet their rec room is literally a wreck! The dark and dumpy space features outdated dormitory-style furniture, so we treat these heroes to a much-needed makeover of their hangout. Watch Part 2.
