We’re a bit obsessed with San Francisco-based e-tailer One Kings Lane. Like Gilt Groupe but for home design junkies, the site specializes in deeply discounted high-end furnishings, tabletop items and accessories that are only on sale for a few days. OKL recently launched its Tastemaker Tag Sales, which as the name suggests, are like ritzy online garage sales, but from interior design’s elite such as Nathan Turner, House Beautiful fave Windsor Smith and Martyn Lawrence Bullard (Cher and "Grey’s Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo are clients). Today’s the last day for designer Barbara Barry’s tag sale, where you can snap up this elegant Oval Collection dining chair for $599 from the esteemed interiors diva (she’s best known for her classically-inspired line for furniture firm Henredon). Another sale we’re anticipating is Bailey Street’s. Their glam seating, including this giraffe-print armchair, will be up for grabs today.
Another spanking-new flash-sales site is Eziba.com from overstock.com. HGTV host Candice Olson’s glam rugs (shown above) are almost sold out. They’re a tad pricey at $865 for an 8’ x 11’ wool floor covering, but you can’t beat Eziba's $3 flat-rate shipping.
