Sweet Home: Penthouse With Subway Doors For $2M

For his 1,400-square-foot flat in Manhattan's West Village neighborhood, architect Adam Kushner incorporated iconic NYC elements into the space. He bought subway doors from the MTA and covered the entryway floor with white subway tiles. Kushner calls the airy, modern one-bedroom apartment "a laboratory for experimentation." To wit, the master bedroom features curved walls and there's a meditation pool that doubles as a hot tub. View the listing.
