Watch Out The Oakland A's Have Some Pitchers

It's all feel good stuff around Arlington as the Texas Rangers continue to roll along in first place.

It seems like forever since we can say the Rangers are a legit crew and they have an incredible wealth of talent in their minor league system

But wait, the A's are coming with some really good pitchers.  They have a young rotation and I got to see a few of them at the end of June and they are gaining on the Rangers and all of baseball.

Now, I'm not saying the A's are going to challenge the Rangers this year, but they have a group of starters you better start to look at: Brett Anderson, Dallas Braden, Trevor Cahill, Vin Mazzaro, and Josh Outman could end up being the next great A's rotation.

The folks at fanhouse.com say the same thing.    And a World Series winning skipper backs up the article.

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen, whose team lost three of four games against the A's rookies, was sufficiently impressed.

"Quote me on this," he told reporters, "the Oakland A's are going to have a tremendous pitching staff the next two or three years."
