DeMarcus Ware: “I'm Fine Now”

Ware was limited in the Giants game due to a stinger suffered against Arizona

DeMarcus Ware suffered a stinger in the loss to the Arizona Cardinals two weeks ago, and, though he remains tied for second in the NFL with 15 sacks, we haven’t really seen him play at the same level since. Josh Alper devoted a post to this idea earlier, after watching Ware fail to record a sack, and bounce back and forth between the sidelines, against the Giants, while dealing with the effects of the stinger.

"You know how you get a stinger in your shoulder and it just goes out and you can't run for a couple of plays and then it goes away and you come back in," Ware said of Sunday night’s loss, per the Dallas Morning News.

But according to Ware, any issues he had with the injury are gone. He was present at practice on Thursday, and expects to play a more normal amount of snaps on Saturday night against Tampa Bay.

"I didn't play as many plays as I wanted to play last game, but it's actually gone away now," Ware said. "I played with it the game before, but I'm fine now."
