Dez Bryant Responds On Twitter

Dez Bryant responded to reports that he was involved in a scuffle with a famous rapper this morning on Twitter

Since reports of Cowboys’ receiver Dez Bryant being detained by police in Miami last weekend, following some sort of altercation at a nightclub, we’ve heard a number of hazy details--at first that it involved a heckler, then a “famous rapper,” then that that famous rapper was Lil Wayne, etc.--but until this morning, we hadn’t heard from Bryant himself.

The receiver, who just finished his second season with the Cowboys, vaguely responded to the story on Twitter early on Thursday--at least, with context clues, we can only assume that the story about a possible altercation with Lil Wayne was what he was referring to, though we suppose we could be wrong.

“Let's quit with the false stories now....me and this man don't have a problem with one another lol,” Bryant tweeted today, all sic of course.

Bryant was reportedly detained by Miami Beach police on Sunday night at Club LIV--which you might remember as the place where the Mavs celebrated their Finals victory over the Heat last summer--but no charges were pressed.
