If it weren’t abundantly clear from the poll that told us that the Dallas Cowboys were at once the “most loved” and “most hated” football team there is, we now have some evidence that lovers and haters of “America’s Team” remain pretty interested in the group.
According to Yahoo!, the Cowboys were the most searched sports team in all of sports in 2012, leading the New York Yankees (2), Los Angeles Lakers (3) and San Francisco Giants (4).
Somewhat interestingly, neither the New York Giants or the New England Patriots--the two teams that played for the Super Bowl last year--ranked in the top ten.
The Texas Rangers missed the top ten as well, while the two teams that beat them in the World Series--in 2010 and 2011--the Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals (8) did make the cut.
