Wide receiver Roy Williams of the Dallas Cowboys during training camp at the Alamodome on August 6, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas.
Williams was first in line to catch a pass from Tony Romo when the offense started its warm-up session Monday.
Instead of his normal No. 11 jersey, or even the No. 4 he sometimes wears at practice, Williams was wearing Patrick Crayton's No. 84.
After coming down hard on his wrist in the first workout Sunday, Williams missed the afternoon session while having X-rays that were negative.
Newman had been sidelined by a slight groin strain since Aug. 8.
