Williams Wants to Inspire Witten-esque Level of Trust in Romo

Terrance Williams caught 13 touchdown passes in his first two seasons

Tony Romo clearly enjoys having Terrance Williams as a target.

In his first two seasons with the Cowboys, the former third round pick out of Baylor has 81 catches, 1,357 yards and 13 touchdowns. In the playoffs last year, his first taste of the NFL postseason, he caught four passes--and three of them went for touchdowns.

But Williams is still working on his relationship with his quarterback. His goal?

To inspire Jason Witten- or Dez Bryant-esque level of trust in Romo.

"I'm still trying to find ways to come out there and have him look my way the same way he looks at Dez (Bryant) and (Jason) Witten," Williams said, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas. “Now, this spring, I'm just basically with Tony doing whatever he's telling me to do, because I want him, every time he breaks the huddle, to have somebody else he can count on.”
