Weeden Looks to “Get Back on Track”

Brandon Weeden struggled quite a bit in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals

If he’s called on to play against the Jaguars on Sunday, Brandon Weeden is looking to get back on track after struggling in the loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

After going 4 of 6 passing for a touchdown in the loss to the Redskins, Weeden went 18 of 33 for a touchdown and two interceptions against the Cards. What’s more, he failed the eye test, with many of his passes coming out erratic.

"Just get back on track," Weeden said, per ESPN Dallas. "I played well on Monday night [against the Redskins on October 27] and I didn't play good enough on Sunday night. Just build on the positive, don't dwell on the other things. I watched the tape and sometimes it's never as good and never as bad as you think it is. It's just the way this league goes. There's a lot to build on, a lot to work on and a lot to get better from and fix from the last game."

Of course, this might be a moot point, if Romo is healthy by Sunday. Romo missed practice on Wednesday, but he’s been held out just about every Wednesday of the season as a precautionary measure.
