DeMarcus Ware would presumably prefer to spend this Wednesday preparing to play in Super Bowl XLVI, but since the Cowboys’ season ended with an unceremonious loss to the New York Giants--who turned out to be the NFC representatives in the big game--several weeks ago, Ware will settle for hosting a massive Super Bowl kickoff party.
Vibe Magazine announced this week that Ware will host the kickoff party at Cuda Lounge in Indianapolis on Wednesday.
Among the athletes, musicians and celebrities expected to attend are Tony Gonzalez, Warren Moon, Brandon Marshall, Shawne Merriman, Chris Johnson and Vince Young.
Along with the normal festivities involved in a Super Bowl party, there will be a Grandstand Sports auction, with prizes ranging from luxury vacations to sports memorabilia. Proceeds from the auction will go to the charity of Ware’s choice, the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
If you happen to be in Indianapolis for whatever reason this Wednesday, and have a notion to party with Ware and the rest, you can find tickets and VIP packages here.
