Ware Returns To Practice

DeMarcus Ware was forced to miss some time earlier in the week after suffering a stinger

From Valley Ranch comes some good news for the Cowboys.

DeMarcus Ware sat out of practice on Wednesday after suffering a stinger in the overtime loss to the Cardinals in Arizona last Sunday, but he returned on Thursday, and it appears that Ware will most likely be available for the Cowboys’ crucial division matchup with the Giants on Sunday night.

Ware recorded three tackles (all solo) in the loss last Sunday and a sack, to put him at 15 on the season, and in the league lead. Minnesota’s Jared Allen is the closest to Ware’s mark, with 14.5.

Meanwhile, Abram Elam will miss practice today to attend the funeral for his father, Donald Elam, Sr., in Florida, but he is expected to play Sunday. And, according to ESPN Dallas, Miles Austin (hamstring), Tony Fiammetta (illness) and Kyle Kosier (foot) all practiced Thursday.
