Ware Not Worried About His Back

DeMarcus Ware suffered a back strain in the loss to the Chargers

Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware was limited in the loss to the Chargers on Sunday with a strained back, but he was encouraged that his stinger didn’t bother him. On Tuesday, he said he wasn’t feeling any lingering pain in his back, either.

I’m good,” Ware said, per the Dallas Morning News. “I’m fine.”

Ware was held without a sack Sunday, for the first time since the season-opener against the Giants. He had two sacks each against the Chiefs and the Rams, and certainly looks on track to record his eighth straight double-digit sack season if he can stay healthy.

According to the report in the Morning News, Ware will likely be limited in practice this week, just as he was last week. This is standard for Ware, who played through a good bit of last year while dealing with a torn labrum and a dislocated elbow.
