Maybe it's just me, but if I had a week off from NFL action, I'd be on the field early stretching and make sure the juices were flowing, and that my body knows it still plays pro football.
Not the case today for the Vikings. At about 10:15am, I walked the field. Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Patrick Crayton, and a host of other Cowboys players were out and about getting loose. Not one Viking.
At about 10:45 am, more Cowboys took the field. Only the Vikings kicker Ryan Longwell was out.
At 11am the entire Cowboys team was on the field warming up. Brett Favre hadn't even graced us with his presence. Finally at 11:35am, the Vikings made their way through the tunnel. Probably not a good idea after taking a week of from football. Bizarre.
