Tyrone Crawford Expects to Return Wednesday

Crawford was held out of the win over the Jags with a sprained MCL

Cowboys defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford is on track in his recovery from a sprained MCL and expects to return to practice on Wednesday and play in the Sunday Night matchup with the New York Giants.

β€œI definitely got to get out there,” Crawford said, per Rainer Sabin of the Dallas Morning News. β€œI definitely got to be with my teammates this month and and this next game.”

The bye week came at an ideal time for Crawford, who suffered the injury in the loss to the Arizona Cardinals and was held out of the victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

β€œIt was definitely more than my knee that I had to get healed up and everything,” he said. β€œNot everything is completely healed but it’s good enough where I can go out there and not put a horrible display out there.”

On the season, Crawford has 20 tackles, including three for a loss, and a pass defensed.
