Tyron Smith Visits West, TX

West is still recovering from last week's fertilizer plant explosion

Dallas Cowboys tackle Tyron Smith is in Central Texas this week to assist those affected by the fertilizer plant explosion last week in West, TX, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Per the report, Smith met with many of the first responders to last Wednesday’ blast, taking photos and signing autographs for them, and served meals to folks on a free chopped beef sandwich line.

In order to make the trip, Smith had to excuse himself from the Cowboys’ voluntary offseason conditioning program, which kicked off last Monday at Valley Ranch, for a few days.

You can see photos of Smith’s visit to West at the Morning News’ website, here.
