The Dallas Cowboys already have one of the best young offensive lines in the NFL but, according to Pro Bowl left tackle Tyron Smith, there’s still plenty of room for improvement--and that’s where the unit is putting their focus as they move into the home stretch.
“As a group, we’re always hard on ourselves because we always want to be the best for our team,” Smith said, per the Dallas Morning News. “We just try to do the best we can. ... Just kind of be your harshest critic.”
Smith believes a good deal of the group’s success so far has been a product of how close-knit they are, and they’re only getting closer.
“Just the way that we all get along with each other, as far as we go on our own and do dinners together, things like that,” Smith said. “We’re getting tighter and tighter as a group.”
