Tony Romo Practicing Full-Time Again

Tony Romo was limited throughout the offseason as he rehabbed his back

Promising news from Valley Ranch today, as quarterback Tony Romo will be a full participant in practice for the second day in a row.

Romo was limited throughout the offseason, in training camp and in the preseason, as the team eased him back from back surgery. Head coach Jason Garrett said during training camp that this was the plan all along, a precautionary measure and nothing to be alarmed about. Then he told reporters this week that Romo was ready for a normal regular season workload.

If Thursday is any indicator, thankfully, Garrett was right.

Yeah, he feels good this morning,” Garrett told the team’s website. “We anticipate him practicing today and we would anticipate that as it goes on. Just like with any player, you would evaluate how he’s doing, how he’s feeling and then come up with how you would want him to work. But we do anticipate him being able to practice throughout this season.”
