Tony Romo Not Focused On Improving Stats

Romo has been on a nice run of statistical performances over the past month

Through the first seven games of the 2012 season, Tony Romo was struggling miserably with turnovers, throwing a league-leading 13 interceptions in this span. Then, five weeks ago, Romo suddenly righted the ship, so to speak.

Since that point, beginning with the 19-13 week nine loss to the Falcons, Romo has tossed ten touchdown passes and just two interceptions, while putting up 1,587 passing yards and a 69 percent completion percentage, impressive numbers by any standards. But the fact that Dallas is just 3-2 over their last five keeps Romo from enjoying his impressive run of performances of recent.

"It’s about winning and losing," Romo said this week, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "Stats are just there for people to talk about. I understand that. My team does. As long as we keep winning, that’s a good sign."
