Terrance Williams Taking Nothing for Granted

Williams was selected out of Baylor in the third round of April's draft

Third round selection Terrance Williams seems to have avery good shot at the Dallas Cowboys’ vacant No. 3 receiver spot, but the Baylor product doesn’t believe it’s his job to lose. Certainly not yet, anyway.

“No,” Williams said, per the Dallas Morning News. “I just got to continue to focus on this playbook and continue playing with confidence. If it pans out that way, then it pans out that way. I’m not looking to that.”

On Monday, Williams left practice kicking himself over a pass that (a) hit him in the hands and (b) was dropped.

“That’s something that really bothered me because I knew I had it,” Williams said. “I just got to go back to the film and come back tomorrow with a whole new attitude.”

Williams has been practicing as the No. 3 since mini-camp, but he’ll have to beat out Cole Beasley and Danny Coale, among others, if he wants to hold onto the job going into the season.
