Stephen Jones Says Hardy's Fitting In Nicely, So Far

Greg Hardy is among the Cowboys at Valley Ranch for the offseason workout program

Despite recent reports detailing a verbal altercation, Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones insists that, so far, Greg Hardy is fitting in nicely at Valley Ranch.

As reported, the details of the aforementioned altercation are understandably sparse, considering the whole thing probably lasted 15 seconds: Hardy was trying to motivate his teammate, defensive tackle Davon Coleman, during a workout--perhaps with a little tough love. Coleman took exception to Hardy’s brand of motivation and called him a “woman beater.” The two had to be separated.

That was less than a week ago, but asked on Tuesday how Hardy was doing as a Cowboy, Jones had nothing but positive things to say.

“Jason [Garrett] has been very pleased. So has Rod [Marinelli]. So has Leon [Lett],” Jones said, per the team's official website. “He has had good reports from strength and conditioning guys. He has been in the meetings with the coaches. So it’s been good.”
