Johnny Manziel or Jadeveon Clowney? That is the question.
Well, it was the question when legendary Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach appeared on NFL Network’s “NFL AM” on Wednesday, and the Hall of Famer went with Manziel.
“He doesn't have the height, he has a strong arm, he throws with accuracy,” Staubach said of Manziel, when asked who he’d take if he possessed the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft.
The praise didn’t end there.
“I just think there’s something about this kid,” Staubach said, adding that Manziel “is a Russell Wilson-type player.”
