30 Jan 1994: RUNNING BACK EMMITT SMITH OF THE DALLAS COWBOYS SCORES A TOUCHDOWN DURING THE COWBOYS 30-13 VICTORY OVER THE BUFFALO BILLS IN SUPER BOWL XXVIII AT THE GEORGIA DOME IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA. SMITH RUSHED FOR TWO TOUCHDOWNS AND WAS SELECTED AS THE G

When a team of all-time Super Bowl greats is announced to commemorate the 50th Super Bowl next weekend in Santa Clara, Calif., it's only natural that there is going to be a lot of Dallas Cowboys on it given the fact they've played in as many Super Bowls as anyone.

While Troy Aikman was 3-0 in Super Bowls and earned an MVP nod in the Cowboys' Super Bowl XXVII victory over the Bills, he wasn't the quarterback. Neither was Tom Brady, who's played in more than anyone. That, instead, went to Joe Montana, who of course was 4-0 in Super Bowls with the 49ers and led that team's dynasty of the 1980s.

Emmitt Smith, who was the MVP of Super Bowl XXVIII with 30 carries for over 130 yards and two touchdowns, was named one of the two running backs on the all-time team alongside former Steelers great Franco Harris.

He was joined by two of his teammates in guard Larry Allen and tight end Jay Novacek, who is easily the best tight end in Super Bowl history with big games in all three of the 90s Cowboys' titles.

Three Cowboys defenders also made the cut, highlighted by Randy White, the lone member of the 70s Cowboys dynasty to be on the team at defensive tackle. Charles Haley was named as a defensive end, which makes sense because he has more Super Bowl titles than any player in history thanks to his run with the 49ers and Cowboys. The group was rounded out by Deion Sanders, who also played for both teams and won consecutive titles in Super Bowl XXIX and Super Bowl XXX with the 49ers and Cowboys, respectively.

Who should've made the cut from America's Team? Any glaring omissions?
