Sean Lee Draws Praise From Dick Butkus

Butkus visited Cowboys camp in Oxnard, CA on Wednesday

Add Chicago Bears legend Dick Butkus to those impressed by the Dallas Cowboys’ Sean Lee.

Butkus visited Cowboys camp on Wednesday, and met with the team. But he made a special point to pull two players aside--defensive end DeMarcus Ware and Sean Lee, who, in the new 4-3, will play Butkus’s old position of middle linebacker.

"I've been watching him," Butkus said of Lee, per ESPN Dallas. "(He's) an old-school guy."

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett told reporters that Lee was on the verge of giddy over meeting the Hall of Famer.

"He's fantastic, a legend," Lee said. "He's probably one of the best football players of all time. To see him and meet him, I was pretty moved.

"He was great. He was talking about playing hard and playing a certain way and staying clean and understanding that we are role models and we have a certain way we need to act and a certain way we need to play. It was a great speech."
