Saints Running Backs Getting Healthy

The New Orleans Saints, who have struggled with injuries all season and had 16 players on the injury report Monday, are finally getting some good news on the health front.

Running backs Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas were both at practice on Monday, and, though Thomas was limited, Bush participated fully.

Bush has been sidelined since suffering a broken fibula in the fourth quarter of the Saints’ week two victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He returned to practice last week, but was ultimately unable to play in the team’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Thomas suffered what was described as a high ankle sprain in the team’s week three loss to Atlanta, and has been out ever since. Though he remains limited in practice, there is a possibility he will return for Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day match-up with the Cowboys.
