S Will Allen, LB Justin Durant Visiting Valley Ranch, Too

Dallas is looking for a safety in free agency after cutting Gerald Sensabaugh

The Cowboys’ lack of cap space isn’t stopping them from taking a look at the free agent pool.

It was reported earlier that Dallas is bringing in veteran safety Michael Huff for a visit Monday and ESPN reports that, on the same day, the team will also host another veteran safety in Will Allen, and linebacker Justin Durant.

Allen started seven games for the Steelers last year after Troy Polamalu went down and finished with 16 tackles and three passes defended.

Durant has spent the last two seasons with the Detroit Lions, starting in 26 games over that span. In 2012, he recorded 103 tackles, a half of a sack and three passes defended.

As you may have heard, Dallas may do some moving and shaking to make cap room for a free agent safety, as that would free them up to address the offensive line in the first round of April’s draft.
