Rookie Mini-Camp Kicks Off Friday

Rookies are filing into Valley Ranch today, for physicals, orientation and whatever else is needed before the team's three-day rookie mini-camp commences tomorrow morning.

Dallas's six draft picks--most notably first rounder and former Oklahoma State receiver Dez Bryant, and second round selection, LB Sean Lee out of Penn State--will join 18 undrafted free agents for the camp, which consists of two workout sessions on Friday and Saturday, and one on Sunday.

Among these undrafted free agents will be New Hampshire tight end Scott Sicko--who turned away from the Cowboys and the NFL before changing his mind and signing with the team on Sunday--as well as Bryan McCann, a cornerback from SMU.

Of course, the camp will feature no real hitting, as the players work out in shorts and shoulder pads.

That said, this weekend represents our first opportunity to see Bryant, Lee and all of the newest Cowboys in Dallas blue--and, in late-April, one can't rightfully expect a lot more than that.
