Romo Makes Wal-Mart Appearance Wednesday

Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo will make an appearance at an Arlington Wal-Mart today to greet select fans, sign autographs and launch the fall collection of his Starter line of apparel, footwear and accessories.

Romo will be at the Wal-Mart at 915 Randol Mill Road from 4 to 6 PM to promote his modestly-priced collection, which is distributed by the retail giant. If the collection fares anything like Romo's jersey, there shouldn't be any problem moving units.

According to CNBC, Romo's no. 9 jersey is ranked fifth in off-season jersey sales this off-season, just beating out the Vikings' Brett Favre (6) and sitting directly behind the Colts' Peyton Manning (4).

Romo is one of two Cowboys to rank in the top 15.

First round selection Dez Bryant's no. 88 jersey is at 15th, 3rd among rookies.

The rankings are based on sales from April 1 to June 30 of this year.

Denver Broncos' rookie quarterback Tim Tebow, despite having yet to take a live snap in the NFL,  leads the pack, beating out such perennial favorites as Donovan McNabb--whose jersey is now burgundy and gold, as opposed to the traditional black and green--and Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees.
