Romo Says He's “Getting Close” to 100 Percent

Tony Romo had his best game of the season thus far in Sunday night's win over New Orleans

After going 22 for 29 for 262 yards and three touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo believes he’s getting close to 100 percent--but not quite there yet.

I think I am getting close,” he said, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas.

Romo’s arm might not have even been the most encouraging part of Romo’s game on Sunday night. For the second consecutive week, Romo ran for a crucial first down, something he admittedly might not have even tried in the first two weeks of 2014.

“I don’t know that I would have attempted it to tell the truth,” Romo said. “I wasn’t in position to feel like I do now. You’re trying to manage the game instead of just going out and doing it. That’s the difference from Week 1 to now.”
